Missing your “RUN AS” Option on Certain Menu Items?

Have you ever wondered how to get the ‘Runas” option to appear on menu items when you right-click them?

The runas command lets a user run a command in the security context of another user. However, some Start menu items might not offer the runas option when you right-click them.

Just hold down the shift key, place the mouse pointer on a Start menu item for which the runas option doesn’t usually appear, and right-click.

Now you’ll see the runas option appear, so you can select from the drop-down list.
