| |

of each and every one of our customers and want to assure you
that any information we gather is used entirely for our
own business needs. We do not sell or share any information
that we gather either directly from you or from you on this
web site. We only gather information we need to
serve you better!
|
| |
We
fully recognize the need for security on the Internet, which
is why our Internet security procedures protect all
information gathered against unauthorized disclosure by
removing it daily from our web site. In addition,
we limit access to personally identifiable information
about you to those employees who have a business purpose for
access to such information such as credit verification.

we retain credit information? |

When we process your order for a new computer, we do verify
that you are who you state that you are. This protects us as
well as you, as credit card and other frauds are increasing
every day. The following information is normally collected
when each order is prepared:
|
| |
|
-
Name
- Login Name
- Mailing
address
- Street
address if different from your mailing address
- Credit
card number if a credit card is to be used
- Telephone
number (home and business)
-
Occupation
- The
type of computer you currently own if you have one
- The
type of software you currently use or intend to use
- How
you logon to the Internet (type of Internet Service
Provider)
- Your
email program preferences
|
| |
|
In
addition, if you request access to our secure online site, we may request information that helps us keep your
account secure. As an example, we may request a special logon
or password clue.
|
| |
|
We are often asked why we request this information. Simply
put, fraudulent credit card use is increasing daily. Although
adhering to strict policies will not prevent credit card fraud,
it will substantially reduce the risk of occurrence. From time
to time we call the customer shortly after an order is place
at the telephone number verified by the credit card company to
insure that the order has been placed by a valid credit card
user.
|

If you have any concerns about the security of
your personal information, you may write to us at the address

We

| |
|
Many

visit their web site, some times even maliciously.
We do not obtain information on-line, nor do we employ any
form of malicious or secretive programs to gather information. We

|
| III. |
How
we use the information we gather. |
| |
There
are primarily two purposes for the information we gather. The
first, depending upon whether or not a credit card transaction
is involved, is to insure that the transaction is legitimate
and does not involve a stolen credit card or pilfered credit
card authorization. The second is to understand how you use
your present computer if you own one and your preferences as
to how we should set it up for you.
|
|
| |
IV. |
Do
we ever disclose the information we gather? |
| |
|
Yes,
for one and only one reason. Upon receipt of, and in response to, a
lawful order issued by a court, government agency, or regulatory
authority with jurisdiction to make the request,
we will attempt to notify you of the request and after
forty-eight (48) hours we will disclose your personal information to
the authority issuing the lawful order. The only exception to this
would be if there were suspected credit card fraud or other unlawful
acts.
